What to do about Product safety
Nexgrill — This product was recalled on safety grounds. The safest first move is to put it out of reach rather than to carry on using it carefully.
- Stop using the product and move it somewhere a child or pet cannot reach it.
- Check the model number and date code against the identifiers on this page, and photograph them.
- Do not resell, donate or pass it on — reselling a recalled product is illegal in the United States.

How the remedy works
CPSC recalls specify one of three remedies, and which one you get is not negotiable — but how smoothly it goes often is.
- A refund means the purchase price back, sometimes prorated by age for durable goods. Ask how they calculated it if the figure looks low.
- Return shipping is the company’s cost. If you are asked to pay it, push back.
- A repair kit is shipped free and is designed to be fitted at home; if you cannot fit it, ask whether they will arrange installation.
- A replacement is usually the current model, not the recalled one. Confirm the replacement is not itself under recall.
Remedy named in the notice: Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled grill brushes and contact Nexgrill for a full refund to be issued as a gift card. Consumers will be provided with a registration code as part of the recall process and will be directed to upload a photograph of their grill brush with that code and their initials to the recall website to register for the recall.
