Information, not advice
Recall Ledger summarises recall notices published by U.S. federal agencies. Pages are informational. They are not medical, legal, automotive or safety advice, and they do not create any relationship between you and us.
The official notice wins
Every recall page links to the agency notice it was built from. If this site and the agency disagree — on lot codes, dates, risk level or remedy — the agency is right and we are wrong. Act on the agency notice.
No warranty
We work from automated feeds. Feeds go down, agencies revise notices, and summaries can lag or carry errors. The site is provided “as is”, without warranty of accuracy, completeness or fitness for a particular purpose. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from use of this site.
Not a government site
Recall Ledger is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or operated by the FDA, USDA, CPSC, NHTSA or any other agency. Agency names and seals are used only to identify the source of a notice.
Trademarks
Brand, product and retailer names belong to their owners and are used to identify what a notice covers. Their appearance here is not a claim about the company beyond what the notice says.
Using our pages
Underlying agency data is public. Our wording, layout and code are not — quote a reasonable extract with a link, but do not republish pages wholesale or scrape the site at a rate that degrades it for other readers.
Changes
These terms may change; the date above tracks that. Questions go to [email protected].
