What is wrong

Grand Design RV, LLC (Grand Design) is recalling certain 2026-2027 Lineage recreational vehicles equipped with the optional Lineage 43 tire package. The vehicle's top speed may exceed the tire's speed rating. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 120, "Wheels and Rims - Other than Passenger Cars."

The risk

A tire may fail while traveling at higher speeds, increasing the risk of a crash.

Why tire defects matter: Under-inflated or overloaded tires overheat, which increases the risk of tread separation.

The remedy

Dealers will install new corrected labels, and Grand Design will mail owners new corrected labels, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed November 2, 2026. Owners may contact Grand Design customer service at 1-574-825-9679. Grand Design's number for this recall is M910067.

About the tires

These campaigns cover tires fitted as original equipment and, on some vehicles, the tire pressure monitoring system or placard information.

What to do

  1. Enter your VIN in NHTSA’s lookup (below) to confirm that your vehicle is included and that the repair has not already been done.
  2. Call a dealer for the brand and book the repair. Quote NHTSA campaign 26V-595 and the manufacturer’s number M910067.
  3. Check tire pressures against the placard on the door jamb and look for bulges, cuts or uneven wear.
  4. Safety recall repairs are carried out free of charge by the manufacturer’s dealers. If you already paid for this repair yourself, ask the manufacturer about reimbursement and keep your receipt.

Check by VIN

A campaign rarely covers every vehicle of a model year. Enter your 17-character VIN to find the recall campaigns filed for your make, model and model year. The VIN is on the driver’s side of the dashboard (visible through the windshield), on the door-jamb label, and on your registration and insurance documents.

Is a recall still open on your vehicle? Only NHTSA’s official VIN check can say whether a campaign applies to your exact vehicle and whether the repair has already been done.

Your VIN is decoded with NHTSA’s public vPIC service to identify the make, model and year. It is not stored and is not added to any page address.
