What is wrong
Southeast Toyota Distributors, LLC (SET) is recalling one 2026 Tundra truck. The current load carrying capacity modification label is incorrect. As such, this vehicle fails to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 110, "Tire Selection and Rims."
The risk
An incorrect load carrying capacity modification label may lead to improper loading of the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.
Why equipment defects matter: The risk depends on the part — a gas leak is a fire risk, while a lift or ramp failure can injure the person using it.
The remedy
SET will provide the owner with a new load carrying capacity modification label, free of charge. An owner notification letter was mailed August 6, 2026. The owner may contact SET's customer service at 1-866-405-4226. SET's number for this recall is SET26A.
About the equipment

Check by VIN
A campaign rarely covers every vehicle of a model year. Enter your 17-character VIN to find the recall campaigns filed for your make, model and model year. The VIN is on the driver’s side of the dashboard (visible through the windshield), on the door-jamb label, and on your registration and insurance documents.
Is a recall still open on your vehicle? Only NHTSA’s official VIN check can say whether a campaign applies to your exact vehicle and whether the repair has already been done.
Your VIN is decoded with NHTSA’s public vPIC service to identify the make, model and year. It is not stored and is not added to any page address.
