Ballester Hermanos está retirando un número limitado de bolsas de 5.99 OZ (170GR) de PEARL MILLING COMPANY ORIGINAL PANCAKE & WAFFLES (MEZCLA PARA PANQUEQUES Y WAFFLES) COMPLETE debido a la presencia no declarada de leche y soya. Las personas con alergia o sensibilidad grave a la leche y/o la soya corren el riesgo de sufrir una reacción alérgica grave o potencialmente mortal si consumen el producto retirado.

El retiro se puso en marcha tras descubrir que la etiqueta indicaba «puede contener leche y soya» en lugar de «contiene leche y soya». Por consiguiente, el objetivo de este retiro es informar a los consumidores de la declaración incorrecta que figura en la etiqueta.

El producto retirado se vendió en diferentes tiendas minoristas de Puerto Rico.
